Link Manager is Interlinks Manager’s successor from the same developer: keyword rules that add links when a page renders, a link-equity model, click tracking and a broken-link list. It is measured, well supported and inexpensive for one site. What it does not do is suggest a link it was not told about, write a link into your content so it survives the plugin, create a redirect, or explain why two pages belong together. Where Link Manager is the better choice
No tool wins at everything, and a comparison page that pretends otherwise is not worth reading.
Link Manager is the better choice for a specific kind of site owner, and the developer has earned the loyalty it has. Interlinks Manager held a 4.97 rating on CodeCanyon across more than seventy reviews, largely for responsive support, and the same developer is behind the new product. Its link-equity model gives every URL a number you can report on, and it has had eleven years to get the rule engine right: case sensitivity, priority, protected tags, per-post caps, test mode, per-block restrictions. It tracks clicks on external links as well as internal ones, which Linkilo does not. Its Domains report and Link Graph are good. And because it never writes to your content, there is no “what if it edits the wrong post” conversation to have with a client. If you want a measuring instrument and a rule engine that leaves your posts untouched, that constraint is a feature and Linkilo is the wrong shape for you.

Export your rules before anything else
Both products export auto-link rules as XML, and Interlinks Manager exports a CSV of keywords and targets. Keep that file; it is the list you will recreate from.
Install Linkilo alongside and scan
A scan writes nothing. It gives you the link index of what is actually in your content, which will not include the render-time links, and that is the honest baseline.
Recreate the rules you still want, as a dry run
Enter the keyword-to-URL pairs from your export. The dry run lists every post and every anchor a rule would touch before it touches any. Most people drop a few rules at this stage once they see them.
Apply, with a snapshot
Linkilo writes a rollback snapshot, then adds the links to the posts in capped batches. From here the links exist in your content, which is the part that was never true before.
