Linkilo’s Broken Link Checker helps find and fix broken links on your website. You can scan your site, schedule automatic checks, and get email reports. This keeps your links working and helps with SEO.

1. Set Up a Scheduled Scan

You can set up the tool to check for broken links automatically.

  1. Turn on Scheduled Scan.
  2. Select how often you want it to run (Daily, Weekly, or Custom).
  3. Pick the days for the scan.
  4. Set the time for the scan.
  5. Click Save Schedule.

Now, the tool will check your links automatically.

2. Run an Instant Scan

If you want to check for broken links right away:

  1. Click Start Scanning under Instant Scan.
  2. The tool will scan your site and show:
    • Total Links Checked
    • Links Scanned
    • Broken Links Found
  3. Any broken links will appear in the table below.

 

3. Turn On Email Reports

If you want to get broken link reports by email:

  1. Turn on Enable Reporting.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Type the email subject.
  4. Click Test Report to check if it works.

Now, you will get regular reports without checking manually.

After scanning, you will see a list of broken links. Each row shows:

  • Post Title – The article with the broken link.
  • Anchor Text – The clickable text.
  • Broken Link – The URL that is not working.
  • Target URL – The correct destination (you can edit this).
  • Link Type – Shows if it is an internal or external link.
  • Status – Shows if the link is completely broken or redirected.
  • Actions – Edit or delete the link.

 

  1. Select the checkboxes for the links you want to fix.
  2. Pick an action from the Bulk Action menu.
  3. Click Apply to update them all at once.

 

 

You can decide which types of links the tool should scan.

  1. Go to the “Which Links to Check” tab.
  2. Select the link types you want:
    • HTML links
    • HTML images
    • Plaintext URLs
    • Embedded videos (e.x YouTube, Google Video, DailyMotion, Vimeo)
  3. Click Save Selection.

This helps you focus on important links instead of scanning everything.
