Broken LinkChecker

Dead links frustrate readers and waste crawl budget. Enter any page and we'll test every link on it — internal and external — and flag the ones returning 404s and errors.

Checks up to 100 links per page.

We fetch the page server-side, extract its links, then test each one's status code.

Why it matters

Dead links cost you twice

A broken link is a dead end. For readers, it's a 404 page and a reason to bounce — exactly the negative signal you don't want. For search engines, it's wasted crawl budget and a sign the page isn't well maintained. Outbound links that rot over time are especially easy to miss, because nothing on your own site visibly changes when someone else's page disappears.

This tool reads a page, pulls every link out of it, and checks each one's HTTP status. A 200 is healthy; a 404 means the target is gone; a 5xx means the target's server is erroring; a 3xx means it redirects (worth tracing). You get a clean list of just the problems, so you can fix or remove them.

It checks one page at a time, up to 100 links. To monitor an entire site automatically on a schedule, that's exactly what Linkilo's built-in Broken Link Checker is for.
