Link Priorities: Where to Add Internal Links Next

Link Priorities answers the question every other report only hints at: "Where should I add internal links next?" One ranked list, one plain-English recommendation per page.

Where it lives

Linkilo → Link Priorities (first item in the Linking group).

How the ranking works

Every page gets a priority score from two ingredients:

  • Demand — how much your audience values the page. Search Console clicks and impressions, plus (if connected) GA4 engagement and conversions.
  • Authority — how much internal linking the page already receives. Linkilo computes a PageRank-style "link equity" percentile (0–100) across your whole site from the actual internal link graph.

Priority is highest for pages with high demand and low authority — pages people want that your own site barely points to. Pages with real conversions get boosted hardest: a money page starved of internal links is your single best opportunity. A well-linked page with no engagement sinks to the bottom — it already has what it needs.

Reading the table

  • Priority bar (0–100) — red is urgent, amber is worthwhile, blue is minor.
  • Confidence chiphigh confidence means the score is backed by measured demand (GSC/GA4 data for that page). structural means the score is based only on the link graph.
  • Signals — the raw numbers behind the score: inbound links, equity percentile, GSC clicks/impressions, GA4 engaged sessions and conversions.
  • What to do — the verdict and the suggested next step, e.g. "Money page — 25 conversions — but under-linked internally. Funnel internal links here from related pages."

Before you connect GSC / GA4

Without any demand data the report still works — it falls back to a structural ranking (most under-linked pages first) and labels every row structural so you know the limitation. Connect Search Console and GA4 to upgrade it from "these pages lack links" to "these pages lack links and deserve them."

Recompute

The report caches for speed. After a crawl, a big linking session, or a GA4 sync, click Recompute to rebuild it from the latest data. It also refreshes automatically in daily background maintenance.
