Linkilo License Not Activating

"I uploaded the plugin but I don't see Linkilo in my admin menu"

The plugin probably didn't activate. Go to Plugins → Installed Plugins, find Linkilo in the list, and click Activate. If Linkilo isn't in the list at all, the upload failed — re-download and try again.

"My license won't activate"

Check these in order:

  1. No extra spaces in the key. Copy from your purchase email and watch for trailing spaces when you paste.
  2. License not expired. Check the purchase email for the renewal date.
  3. License has activations left. Multi-site licenses cap how many sites can use the same key. If you've used it elsewhere, deactivate from one of those sites first — see How to remove a website from your license.
  4. Your site is reachable from our server. License validation pings our server. If your site blocks outgoing HTTP requests, validation fails. Check with your host.

Other things to try

  • Try activating in an incognito browser window
  • Deactivate all other plugins and retry
  • Check that PHP is 7.4 or higher (we recommend 8.1+)
  • Disable your CDN temporarily and retry — some CDNs cache the activation endpoint and break the handshake
  • Check with your host that nothing is blocking outbound HTTPS to linkilo.co

"Connection to license server failed"

Your server can't reach our license endpoint. Usually a firewall or proxy issue. Have your host whitelist *.linkilo.co and retry.

Still stuck?

Submit a ticket with your license key (we'll look it up), your WordPress version, your PHP version, and a screenshot of the activation error.
