When to use this
- You no longer manage the site
- You want to free up an activation slot to use on a different site
- Client work is finished and you’re handing off the site
Step-by-step
- Log in to your Linkilo account
- Click View License
- Click Manage Sites
- Find the website you want to remove
- Click Deactivate
The slot is freed instantly and you can add a different site to take its place.
There is no deactivate button inside the plugin. The Linkilo → Settings → Advanced → Licensing screen shows your active key and a Manage sites on linkilo.co button that takes you to the same place.
Note: Once the site is removed, Linkilo on that site locks to its license screen the next time someone opens the WordPress admin: the Linkilo menu, the editor boxes and the Related Posts widget are hidden until a valid key is entered. The inserted links themselves stay in the content.
