How to Replace a Site on Your Linkilo License

When you’d do this

Maybe you finished a client project and want to swap one site for another. Or you have a single-site license you’d like to move from your old site to a new one.

Step-by-step

1. Log in to your Linkilo account
2. Click View License
3. Click Manage Sites
4. Click Deactivate next to the site you’re removing
5. Enter the full URL of the new site, including https://
6. Click Add Site

That’s it. The license is now tied to the new site. Linkilo re-checks the license when you open the WordPress admin on that site (never while a visitor is loading a page), so the change is picked up the next time you log in there.

If the new site still shows a license error, go to Linkilo → Settings → Advanced → Licensing, paste the key into the License key field and click Activate License.

Moving between www, non-www or a subdomain of the same domain? You don’t need to swap anything. Since Linkilo 3.0, example.com, www.example.com and its subdomains share one license domain.
