When you'd exclude a page from the report
The Orphan Pages report (Linkilo → Diagnose → Orphan Pages) flags pages that have no internal links pointing to them. Usually that's a problem you want to fix — but sometimes you intentionally don't want a page to receive internal links:
- A/B test landing pages that should only be accessible via paid ads
- High-converting landing pages you don't want diluted with general site traffic
- Thank-you / confirmation pages that should only follow a form submission
- Hidden offer pages for specific email campaigns
- Legal pages such as privacy or terms that only live in the footer
For those cases, you can tell Linkilo to leave the page out of the report so it doesn't show up as "needs internal links."
Step-by-step
- Go to Linkilo → Settings → Content & Ignored Words (under CONTENT FILTERS in the left navigation)
- Scroll to the Pages and URLs to skip card
- Find the Hide from orphan report field
- Paste the full URL of the page you want excluded, one per line
- Click Save Settings
The page is now ignored by the orphan scan and won't show up in the report. It also stops appearing under Rescue orphaned content in Linkilo → Fix → Fix Link Health, which uses the same list.
Excluding multiple URLs
Add one full URL per line, for example:
https://yoursite.com/landing/black-friday-2026/https://yoursite.com/thank-you/
Each line must be the exact address of one post or page on your site — Linkilo looks the URL up and ignores that specific post. Wildcards such as /landing/* are not supported. If you have a whole section to hide, put those pages in their own category and use the Categories to skip card on the same settings pane instead.
Removing the exclusion
To bring a page back into the report, delete its line from Hide from orphan report and click Save Settings.
Other options on the same card
The Pages and URLs to skip card has a few neighbours that are easy to mix up:
- Do not suggest these URLs — Linkilo won't suggest links pointing to these pages
- Skip auto-link & URL changes — posts whose body Linkilo must never edit automatically
- Treat these URLs as external links and Only suggest these external URLs — for controlling outbound suggestions
